Additional Services
In addition to The Birthing Well's labor support package, we offer the following services:
- Birth Story
- We can take detailed notes on the events of your labor and birth and write a beautiful letter to your baby describing the story of your birth. This is a treasure! There is an extra fee of $50 for this service. (Please let us know before the birth if you select this service.)
- Belly Casting
- We can help you create a lasting 3 dimensional work of art to capture the memory of your pregnancy. We will come to your home and bring all of the necessary supplies. Once the cast is dry enough to remove, we will take it home and add additional plaster and gesso in order to provide further support to the sculpture and to prepare it for decorating. If you choose, we will decoupage it with lovely paper in a color of your choosing. Or, if you prefer, we can return it to you ready for you to paint or decorate yourself. Many parents love to hang these creations in their child’s nursery to enjoy. There is an additional fee of $100 for a plain cast or $150 for a decoupaged cast.
- Private Infant Massage Class
- This service provides a private, one-on-one instruction in the art of infant massage. This instruction can take place in one of our homes or yours and lasts approximately ninety minutes. There is an extra fee of $75 for this service.
